  12. I have a Phoebe V.34 fax/modem. I think it has an AT&T chipset. It 
  13. works fine at 14.4k and 28.8k, but one of the modems I call is a 
  14. V.22bis (2400bps) modem. Other V.34 modems work fine calling it, 
  15. but this one just connects and then sits there doing nothing. Any 
  16. ideas? I've tried various DTE speeds, disabling error 
  17. correction/data compression, etc.
